What I do

I operate a virtual law practice based in Ottawa, Ontario and assist clients across Ontario and British Columbia. I am an experienced litigation and research lawyer who assists other lawyers with litigation and research support, including Supreme Court of Canada Agency.

I also assist the general public with limited litigation services in the areas of:

• appellate advocacy

• judicial reviews

• enforcement of letters rogatory or letters of request

• access to information proceedings

• disputes concerning the validity of wills or trust instruments

• opinions and advice for executors and trustees including professional trustees

• applications for the interpretation of wills or trust instruments

In addition to these litigation focused services, I help individuals with estate and incapacity planning. In particular, I assist members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community with their unique needs and planning goals regarding powers of attorney and will-making.
